The Dallas Mavericks will be eager to level the series after losing Game 1 to the Houston Rockets by 118-108. Dirk Nowitzki led the team with 24 points on 10 of 14 shooting while Monta Ellis added 16 points and Rajon Rondo added 15 points. However, Chandler Parsons scored just 10 points and still looked to be a little rusty which is understandable because he did miss the last 6 games of the regular season.
As for the Houston Rockets, James Harden played more of a facilitator role and really directed the offense with 24 points and 11 assists which benefited the rest of the team as six other players finished in double figures. Terrence Jones flirted with a triple-double, scoring 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists while Jason Terry added 16 points, but the real spark plug was Dwight Howard who scored 11 points and made five blocks in just 17 minutes of playing which really got the Rockets going early on. All in all, the Rockets will be feeling very confident after their performance in Game 1 and will once again be favorites tonight.
