It is an inter-conference tilt between a pair of teams looking to improve their postseason chances meeting in the Windy City. The Denver Nuggets are on the road as they take on the surging Chicago Bulls Tuesday night.
The Bulls have won four straight games and mauled Cleveland even after sending Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson to Oklahoma City in a trade deadline deal. Denver is fighting for their playoff lives in a logjam in the Western Conference with five teams in striking distance. The Nuggets have seemingly taken Mudiay out of their rotation, which has to create some discord in the locker room. Denver struggles on the road and Chicago has seemingly righted the ship again. Look for the Bulls to pick up the home win here.
The over is 5-1 in the Bulls last 6 versus a team with a losing straight up record, 6-2 in their last 8 games following a ATS win and 5-2 in their last 7 games following a straight up win. The teams have gone over in five of the last six meetings overall and four of the last five in Chicago. Look for that to be the case here as well.
Sacramento is just 1.5 games out of the last playoff spot in the Western Conference, while Minnesota is 3.5 games behind eight-placed Denver. It will be opening game between this these team.
However, the Kings are in rebuild mode after getting rid of DeMarcus Cousins this past week for New Orleans’ first-round pick along with Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, Buddy Hield and a second-round pick. Minnesota outrebounded Houston by 27 on Saturday and they scored a season-high 130 points. But they allowed 142 points and committed a season-high 25 turnovers in another loss. Young center Karl-Anthony Towns scored 37 points and grabbed 22 rebounds for the T-Wolves. Guard Andrew Wiggins added 30 points on 11-of-22 shooting.
The Kings lost an All-Star center in Cousins and that is going to hurt them on both ends. Well, at least on the offensive end. He was not the most motivated defender in the league. Minnesota has gone over in 11 of their last 13 overall and 10 of their last 11 playing on 1 days rest. Minnesota shouldn’t be laying that many points on the road. They are talented, but basically a two-mean team of Wiggins and Towns. The Kings have some youngsters in Cauley-Stein and Hield that might be ready to take off. And the T-Wolves still play no defense.
Today wi chose for you other good game , which is an inter-conference matchup of teams looking to build a little momentum north of the border. The Portland Trail Blazers continue a road swing as they take on the Toronto Raptors Sunday evening. Portland had lost three straight and five of six before beating Orlando 112-103 on the road Thursday night. Toronto won their second straight as they knocked off Boston in an Atlantic Division showdown 107-97 Friday night at home.
Portland managed to start the stretch run of the season on a high note after limping into the All Star break. The Trail Blazers knocked off the Magic to stay in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference: they trail the Nuggets by 1.5 games entering Sunday. Portland comes into this one 9th in the league in scoring with 107.4 points per game. The Trail Blazers are 19th in the league in rebounding as they collect 43.4 boards a night. Portland is 19th in the league in assists with 21.7 per contest. Toronto got some big production from their trade acquisitions and that helped them take down the Celtics. The Raptors climbed to within three games of Boston for the Atlantic Division lead at this point in time. Toronto trailed by 11 after the opening quarter and by 10 at the half. The Raptors come into this one 5th in the league by averaging 108.4 points per game. Toronto is having their struggles on the glass, ranking 24th with 42.6 boards per game. The Raptors are last in the league in assists with 18.6 dimes a night.
The Trail Blazers may have gotten back in the win column by taking down Orlando but there is a vast difference talent wise between the Magic and the Raptors. Toronto struggled coming into the All Star break but back to back fourth quarter rallies have pushed them back on the positive side of the needle. The Raptors really bolstered their rotation before the trade deadline and that improved their team quite a bit. Toronto gets the nod here as Portland wilts again.
It is a Southeast Division matchup down in the Sunshine State. The Atlanta Hawks play the second game of a back to back as they face the Orlando Magic Saturday night. Atlanta was at home as they faced the Heat Friday night in their first game since the All Star break. Orlando lost for the sixth time in seven games with a 112-103 home loss to the Trail Blazers Thursday night. Atlanta holds a 56-51 advantage in the all-time regular season series between the teams. The Hawks took two of the first three meetings this season, including a 113-86 home win in the most recent matchup on February 4.
Atlanta will be playing the second game of a back to back and should be back to full strength as Schroder will have served his one game suspension Friday night. Adding Ilyasova to the mix was a nice addition for the Hawks as he’s another scoring wing that they can use. Orlando has struggled to put things together and while Ross may prove to be a valuable addition, it’s tough to replace the production the Magic got, especially on the defensive end, from Ibaka. The Magic surprisingly didn’t make as many moves as one would have expected at the deadline.
Orlando has seen the under go 4-0 in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record, 9-1 in their last 10 home games and 29-7 in their last 36 versus a team with a winning straight up record. Look for this one to fall under the total as Orlando struggles offensively and Atlanta picks up the win.
Today have a battle of Western Conference foes in the Sooner State. The Los Angeles Lakers get the stretch run of a disappointing campaign underway as they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night.
With the playoffs likely a non factor for the Lakers once again, the team made moves during the All Star break to look toward next season and beyond. On the court, the team dealt Lou Williams, the team’s leading scorer, to the Rockets for Corey Brewer. Off the court, Jim Buss and general manager Mitch Kupchak were sacked. Oklahoma City stumbled a bit before the break but hope they righted the ship with a win over the Knicks. The Thunder enters the closing stretch of the season three games behind the Jazz in the Northwest Division. Before the trade deadline, Oklahoma City swung a deal with Chicago to add some grit and perimeter shooting to their rotation. The Thunder acquired Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott from the Bulls. In exchange, the team shipped Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow and Joffrey Lauvergne to the Windy City.
The Lakers took a run at Paul George but fell short in the end as Indiana retained him. Los Angeles is going to have more production from their young guys to work with as they dealt away Williams. He was a major reason while the Lakers had the league’s best scoring bench unit in the league. Oklahoma City adding Gibson and McDermott was a shrewd move as it gives them better depth and a sharpshooting perimeter threat, which is something that has been missing this season. The Thunder has to improve from 29th in the league in three point shooting.
Today is going to be interesting meeting in NBA between Orlando Magic and Portland Trail Blazers. The game will be held in Orlando on Amway Center. All the teams from this League took rest. And they are rested for new feats.
Both teams limped into the All Star break and things aren’t looking to get any better in the near future. Orlando was shorthanded in their loss to the Spurs but hope to have Ross for his debut with the team here. Portland got a boost from Nurkic in his debut after being acquired in a deal for Mason Plumlee but they need to get more production from their frontcourt group. The Trail Blazers have a major edge in the backcourt provided Lillard and McCollum aren’t shut down.
The under is 4-0 in the Trail Blazers last 4 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points, 4-1 in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400, 8-2 in their last 10 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 8-3 in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. Orlando has seen the under go 8-1 in their last 9 home games and 4-1 in their last 5 Thursday games. Given the Magic’s offensive struggles, one has to think that this one will stay under the total.
Today we chose for you a game from Finland, Korisliiga. Helsinki Seagulls against KTP Basket will play at 18:30 (+2 GMT). Hosts are a team that very often sets very low tempo in their home matches in comparison to other teams in that league.
In last game, they were facing a team which is currently the most good shape in this league in my opinion. But in first half we had easily under at that line. In all home matches of Seagulls in 2017 there was under 80.5 points scored in 1st half.
Guests are barely on playoff position and there is nothing left for them than to try, and to get chances for sneaking a win there a solid defense in 1st half is needed. The price of this market it is so pretty of us and we will take it. We hope a watch game with less points in a First Half.
For our community we have a one of Serbian game, which will held in Belgrade on Zeleznik Hall, FMP Beograd and MZT Skopje will for victory into ABA Liga. We are ready to expect effective meeting between them.
At home Beograd have a good results and always keep a shape. They have done four victories last games in ABA Liga. In the other hand is Skopje which are to in good form and participated in effective matches. Both teams will be well rested and ready for the task ahead, hence more points.
Visitors scored 160 average points their last ten games. Domestic team almost the same points average their last ten games. We expect from these team offensive and open game for over 157 points in ordinary time. Pinnacle gave us so good multiplier which value is 1.79.
Today dear readers we have for you one of best for a day. The meeting will be held in Kazan on Basket Hall Arena. Unics Kazan versus Khimki Moscow today in VTB League .
Khimki won 7 from the last 8 games played in all competitions and are in good form . Unics is a fast team bet will be over 168,5 points for example the last game played by them had over 200 points: 112-98 points win against Nizhny. In the other side Khimki is also a very good team, with a fast offense and that usually scores many points. The last game played by Khimki also had over 200 points : 118-109 points against Saratov.Four from the last five games played by Khimki had over 168 points, both teams have great offensive potential this game will go over 168 points.
We believe that they will be able to score many points too, and based in all of this we believe that this total line will be covered. And multiplier is so good for us and William Hill are surprised us with this market. That is why we will take it.
Today we have a game between Anadolu Efes and Banvit in the Turkey cup playoffs final.
Both of teams are really good and have worked really hard to get here, Anadolu Efes have won their last 5 games, averaging 80 to 85 points per games while Banvit who have been doing exceptional well recently have won 4 out of their last 5 games scoring an average of about 70 to 75 points per games.
Also their last 3 meetings have produced at 156 points. Both teams are also playing on 0 day rest and should make way for under 157 points. We think the game will be boring for both of sides without rest , they will be tired. And we prefer to take this pick on 1.97 multiplier.
